Interior Designers Offer Free Design Consults to Front-Line Medical Professionals to Transform Homes Into Personal Sanctuaries

Holmdel, N.J.-based interior designer Anna Maria Mannarino, a Past President of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, has initiated the Your Home Collaboration program after also working with manufacturers and local and state officials to provide much-needed personal protective equipment (PPE) to hospitals in the area. The goal is to help front-line medical professionals responding to COVID-I9 make their home sanctuaries that they can look forward to returning to after helping communities stay safe and healthy.

The program is recruiting interior designers nationwide to provide free design consultations to these heroes. The consultations are for one room with a two-hour minimum and can be done virtually or in-person at a later date.

“During these unprecedented times, it’s important that we are all doing what we can to say thank you to those who are on the front lines of the pandemic,” Mannarino explains. “We know that design impacts lives and good design enhances the human experience. I’m calling on all my friends and colleagues in the design community to donate a One Room Consultation to these heroes.”

Those wishing to nominate a medical professionals for the program, or medical professionals themselves anywhere in the country, can fill out a form requesting design services on the program’s Facebook page:
