As part of Cleveland-based Kichler Lighting’s continued growth, the company has made the following appointments.
Bruce Ziegler has been appointed VP/Marketing. He brings a wide range of expertise from his prior positions at Sherwin-Williams Company, Kirby and Scot Laboratories, CWP Technologies, and Tarkett. In his role at Kichler, Ziegler will provide support in product launches, brand development, and the implementation of marketing strategies and plans.
Rula Stamatis has been named Director/ Brand Management. Most recently, she has spent the past 6 years at Vitamix, where she was instrumental in transforming the company into a household name. At Kichler, Stamatis will be responsible for both consumer and B-to-B marketing, plus executing the use of brand strategy. She will also drive brand awareness by overseeing trade shows, graphic design, communications, and digital marketing.
Charlee McDaniel is named Digital Marketing Manager, and brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing and 10 years in digital marketing. At Kichler, she will serve as the bridge between the digital landscape and company sales, and will be responsible for further developing its digital presence through Web site, social and digital media plus mobile properties as well as developing and supporting the brand, sales goals, and marketing and business strategies.
Tim Bitterman joins the company as Senior Marketing Manager/Wholesale, following a 15-year career at Moen where he held various marketing roles. He has also worked for electrical fitting company Halex as the Marketing Communications Manager. At Kichler, he will cover Landscape, Electrical Distributor, and Builder channels and will assist in strategic channel plan development and execution, marketing plan development, new product commercialization, and a variety of communication plans.
Tia Bahr has been named Senior Marketing Manager for Lowe’s/E-Commerce, where she will focus on cultivating and furthering brand relations with Lowe’s, as well as developing and leading channel marketing initiatives across Lowe’s Kichler-branded products. Previously, she served as Senior Product Category Manager for Shurtech Brands before moving to Moen as Senior Product Manager. With more than 20 years of managerial experience, Bahr will work closely with both sales and brand to create marketing strategies that will increase brand awareness and recognition, specifically within Lowe’s locations and E-commerce.
The company’s new VP/Operations is Dennis Snyder, who brings an international business perspective and extensive supply chain and operational experience. Beginning his professional career at Invacare Corp., Snyder held multiple positions in both Mexico and China for the firm, setting up new facilities and supply chain infrastructure, implemented standards, and conducting supplier search and development. He also served as VP/Operations for American Standard, where he oversaw global sourcing as well as 10 manufacturing facilities. At Kichler, Snyder will head up quality management, lead the China team, and be responsible for the entire supply chain.
