LEDucation Cancels Rescheduled Show

Due to the continuing impacts surrounding COVID-19, The Designers Lighting Forum of New York and the LEDucation committee have made the decision to cancel LEDucation 2020, which had been rescheduled from its original March 17 & 18 dates to August 18 & 19, 2020 at the same venue in Manhattan.

“We are disappointed that we are unable to hold LEDucation 2020 for the lighting community. However, the health and welfare of our exhibitors and attendees is our top priority and feel that this is the right decision based on the information we have today,” say LEDucation Co-Chairs Burt Grant and Caroline Rinker.

“We are faced with an unprecedented level of uncertainty for what will occur in the coming months, and this decision will allow us to come together again when there is more clarity regarding our collective health,” adds Francesca Bastianini, President of the DLFNY. “We look forward to when we can join with all of you again in person to share in the news and innovation from the industry, its practitioners, and our community.”

The next edition of LEDucation will be March 16 & 17, 2021 at its usual venue, the New York Hilton Midtown.

Attendees who had registered for LEDucation 2020 have the following options:

Option 1: Rollover registration fees to LEDucation 2021 (this requires no further action on attendees’ part).  All attendees opting to rollover fees will be receiving separate information regarding a LEDucation 2020 virtual educational series.

The virtual educational series will offer a variety of courses from the LEDucation 2020 programs that have been approved for AIA/CEU/LU credits. Once the schedule is finalized you will receive an email announcement with instructions on how to join.

Option 2: Receive a full refund for registration and seminar fees. The deadline for a Refund Request is May 29, 2020.
