In a generous expression of the holiday spirit, employees of Twin Star Home – a designer and manufacturer of electric fireplaces and home furnishings headquartered in Delray Beach, Fla. – donated to two local charities for the third year in a row as part of The Spirit of Giving Annual Holiday Gift Drive. In partnership with the Junior League of Boca Raton, the Spirit of Giving Network works with more than 47 local agencies to provide gifts to needy children in Palm Beach County.
During November and the first week of December, Twin Star Home team members came together as part of their annual toy drive to collect and donate gifts for local children. A beloved tradition for Twin Star Home, the event collected 30 unwrapped toys.
“There are so many children living without the means to have their most basic needs met, much less receive gifts at holiday time,” explains Lisa Cody, Twin Star Home’s VP/Marketing. “This community-wide project allows more than 5,000 wishes to be granted for area girls and boys, and we feel honored to do our part to make their holiday season brighter.”
In addition, Twin Star Home employees helped the Big Dog Ranch Rescue, which has 500+ dogs available for adoption with another 100 puppies not yet ready to be placed in forever homes. Meeting the rescue’s goal of having a toy for every dog, employees purchased specific gifts requested by the rescue. More than $1,000 was raised in dog toys and monetary donations.
A key point of Twin Star Home’s mission is to be active and engaged in philanthropic efforts in the communities in which they live and work.
