Hong Kong-based VOLTRA Lighting, which launched its first range of VOLTRA Cordless lamps in 2018, has been selected as the winner of the highly coveted Excellent Product Design-Lighting 2020 from the German Design Council of Germany. The company will receive the award in a ceremony taking place on February 7 in Frankfurt in conjunction with the Ambiente 2020 trade fair. The Excellent Product Design award recognizes VOLTRA’s success in design quality and the timeless elegance of the products.
The German Design Award is the second award that VOLTRA has received within one year for design excellence; it has also garnered the International Interior Design Award [IIDA] for the best Lighting Product of 2019.
The cordless lamps are available in the USA, the U.K., France, Hong Kong, and China. New designs will launch in 2020.
