Nora Lighting, headquartered in Commerce, Calif., has expanded its presence in North American markets with the addition of four showroom rep agencies in Canada.
The agencies include: AFS, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Cohen-Scalia, headquartered in Ville St. Laurent, Quebec; Shannon Payne, which has offices in Richmond, British Columbia; and Exclusively Lighting of Toronto, Ontario, which handles both showroom and commercial sales.
AFS, headed by Mark Sadofsky, will handle New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Cohen-Scalia, directed by Maurice Cohen and Peter Scalia, will oversee Quebec. The Shannon Payne agency is headed by Shannon Payne and will cover Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan; and Phil Toderoff of Exclusively Lighting will handle Ontario.
“Nora’s partnership with these four Canadian agencies will ensure our company’s continued growth in these important markets,” says Fred Farzan, Nora’s president. “Nora’s lighting fixture line has seen tremendous acceleration in the last year in the diversity and depth of our product offerings, particularly in LEDs,” he adds. “The interest in LEDs in the U.S. and Canada reflects both consumer and commercial demand for energy-saving technologies.”
