For decades, the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair has been held in late October, but 2020 is not an ordinary year. With many countries facing travel restrictions, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has developed an online sourcing event that will include other categories besides lighting.
A statement from the HKTC reads, “While the COVID-19 outbreak continues to hamper global business activities, online sourcing has become the ultimate solution that makes trade transactions possible. Under the theme of A New Connected World Beyond the New Normal, Autumn Sourcing Week | ONLINE (ASWO) offers a one-stop online sourcing platform for buyers and suppliers to continue explore more business opportunities across various industries including electronics, houseware, lighting, outdoor tech light, eco tech, gifts & premium, toys, baby products, stationery, optical as well as watch & clock.”
Backed by the HKTDC’s global network of 50 offices and a powerful database, ASWO’s exhibition team provides excellent customer service, pre-arranges business matching meetings with on-target partners and unveils the latest industry trends and developments for participants.
ASWO will also continue its “Click2Match,” an AI-enabled business matching platform, to provide buyers and suppliers with online self-service tools such as meeting planner, live chat, video meeting, and e-business card exchange.
