First-Ever Market Choice Awards Lets Dallas Market Buyers Pick the Best New Products
There will be excitement in the halls of the Dallas Market Center (DMC) during the June International Lighting Market as lighting buyers vote for the best new product at the show. The inaugural Market Choice Awards are co-sponsored by enLIGHTenment Magazine and the Dallas Market Center (DMC).
More than 30 lighting manufacturers are participating in the new awards competition, which boasts 65+ new products in 6 categories. The categories are: Indoor, Outdoor, Bath/Spa, Landscape, Ceiling Fans, and Portable Lamps.
Finding participating lighting manufacturers will be easy with signs posted outside each showroom entered in the Market Choice Awards. Signage on the lighting floors of the Trade Mart will explain to buyers how to vote (by text) for their favorites.
Voting will take place on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Saturday, the winning products in each category will be announced and the manufacturers will receive a trophy presented jointly by the staff members of the DMC as well as enLIGHTenment Magazine. Industry members who are not able to be present at market can find the results of the competition on enLIGHTenment Magazine’s Web site (www.enltransfer.wpengine.com).
