Castleton, Vt.-based domestic lighting manufacturer Hubbardton Forge has announced a new change to its Sales department.
Andrew Knapp — who has spent the past 10 years as VP/Trade Sales for New Jersey-based Ricci Sales agency, which represents Hubbardton Forge in New Jersey, New York, and parts of Connecticut — has been tapped as VP/Sales, replacing Chris Recchia, who took on the VP/Sales role approximately 18 months ago after leaving quartz countertop manufacturer Caesarstone as VP/Sales & General Manager. In addition, Hubbardton Forge has eliminated the role of National Residential Showroom Sales Manager, a position held by industry veteran Bruce Hathaway for the past 10 years, due to the increased scope of the new VP/Sales role.
Knapp has previous experience working at a retail lighting showroom and has developed strong relationships with designers working on both residential and commercial projects during his tenure with Ricci Sales. His past work also includes collaborations that have led to customized products for client projects.

As VP/Sales, Knapp will report directly to Maria Mullen, President & COO, who joined the manufacturer this past June. “I am thrilled to welcome Andrew to his new role at Hubbardton Forge. His past experience, especially selling our products at retail and wholesale, will bring a different perspective to our sales operation. Understanding our customers’ challenges, as Andrew does, will make us a stronger partner and a more important resource. With Andrew overseeing our sales team we are excited about the future.”
Knapp will oversee Commercial, Trade and Residential Showroom sales, with a particular focus on Showroom sales. All residential sales representatives will be reporting directly to him. Additionally, Amy McGuire, National Commercial Sales Manager, and Stephen Bowen-Romàn, National Trade Sales Manager, will also report to Knapp.
