After an absence at the summer edition of the Las Vegas Market due to COVID social distancing concerns, temporary exhibits will return for Winter 2021 Market (January 24-28) with innovative gift and home décor resources that will be showcased in the newly constructed Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas (WMCLV).
“The gift and home temporaries will be a key source of discovery at Las Vegas Market, presenting a variety of market favorites as well as new and emerging brands,” says Scott Eckman, IMC’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Presenting the temporaries in the state-of-the-art facility creates a new experience for Las Vegas Market, combining trade show exhibits and showroom connectivity for a seamless shopping experience.”
Over four Market days, the Expo at WMCLV will present hundreds of temporary gift and home exhibits in six updated destinations – Design, Gift, Handmade, Home, Immediate Delivery, and Luxe.
Gift, the largest of the six destinations, will feature a collection of traditional and contemporary giftware that includes decorative gifts, tabletop and housewares, gourmet foods, jewelry, apparel, personal care, baby and kids resources, stationery and innovative lifestyle products.
Home will present suppliers of accent decor, furniture, textiles, linens, and decorative accessories.
Immediate Delivery will feature a selection of cross-category products available for immediate purchase, including vintage, antiques, jewelry, accessories, gift items, found objects, repurposed and recycled home décor and apparel.
Three curated destinations – Design, Handmade, and the new Luxe – will showcase a juried, cross-category assortment of artisan, design-led, and luxury products. Handmade will offer a curated collection of globally handcrafted and designer-maker artisan products; Design will present a curated collection of contemporary and design-led gift and home décor resources; and Luxe will feature a juried showcase of luxury gift, home furnishings, and home décor goods.
The Expo facility’s contiguous alignment with Building C positions it as the gateway to the entire World Market Center campus, allowing for a more seamless traffic flow between the market’s temporary exhibits and permanent showrooms. For Winter Market, the exhibit floor layout will be adjusted for social distancing protocols and include one-way aisles. The lobby of the Expo also provides one centrally located arrival area for exhibitor and attendee registration and safety screenings, required as part of IMC’s Together Safely protocols.
Dates for the 2021 Winter Market are Sunday, January 24, through Thursday (January 28), with the gift and home temporaries in the Expo at WMCLV from January 24 to January 26 (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.) and on January 27 (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.); permanent showrooms are open from January 24-27 (8 a.m. – 6 p.m.) and on January 28 (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.).
