Comedian Jeff Foxworthy will visit Spring High Point Market, April 14-18, to launch The Jeff Foxworthy Home Collection for Man Wah Cheers (FP 410), joining a noteworthy list of new and expanded showrooms in International Market Centers’ Main Street properties.
Man Wah representatives describe the inspiration for the Collection as “formed around common values, including respect for well-made, attractively priced products that resonate with the lifestyles of everyday Americans.”
“We are extremely excited,” says Guy Ray, CEO of Man Wah USA. “The fact that this is the first time Jeff is entering the home furnishings arena makes this launch all the more special. This also marks the first time Man Wah has taken on a consumer brand through a licensing agreement.”
Foxworthy noted the partnership aligns with his own personal and professional philosophies.
“I am extremely impressed with Man Wah on many levels,” Foxworthy explains. “In addition to building products that are good looking, comfortable and reasonably priced, the company has earned the respect of retailers and consumers for integrity and trust—qualities that are equally important to me.”
Located in the heart of High Point Market, Main Street properties include more than 300,000-sq.-ft. of permanent showrooms in Furniture Plaza, Plaza Suites, and the National Furniture Mart. In addition to Man Wah Cheers, new and expanded showrooms for Spring Market include Canal Dover (PS412), Amax Leather (FP215), Chintaly Imports (FP214), Global Home (PS410), Decor-Rest (PS212), and Moto Sleep (NFM9).
Powell Home Fashions will celebrate 50 years of business at Market with a Golden Anniversary cocktail party Friday, April 13, from 5-9 p.m. Additionally, the company will offer tastings of local craft beer in the showroom daily from 4-6:30 p.m.
Decor-Rest, a family-owned company since 1972, will launch a new motion upholstery and dining collection.
“We encourage dealers to stop by and walk our space,” says Angelo JR Marzilli, President of Decor-Rest, adding the new showroom in Plaza Suites emphasizes the company’s continued growth. “Our team of more than 300 employees builds well-designed furniture made to last, and we are thrilled to finally be able to display all of our collections under one roof.”
Julie Messner, Senior V/P of Furniture and Home Décor Leasing for International Market Centers says Main Street properties are a crucial part of High Point Market.
“Along with our newest tenants who have joined the team, these staple buildings are home to many name-brand popularly-priced lines including Jackson Catnapper, La-Z-Boy, Southern Motion, Steve Silver, Pride Mobility, Jofran, Kuka Home, Cozzia, England, and A.R.T. Furniture,” she adds. “We anticipate another spectacular year and look forward to a number of ‘firsts’ from our diverse exhibitors.”
