SKYX Platforms Adds Lighting Veteran as President/Wholesale & Retail

Miami-based SKYX Platforms Corp. (“Sky Technologies”), a platform technology company with 60+ issued and pending patents, has been steadily adding credibility within the residential lighting community with some strategic new hires since its debut roughly one year ago. In February 2022, the firm appointed Mark Earley, the former Chief Engineer of The National Electrical Code (NEC),  as the leader of its Safety Advisory Board Committee, and last month announced former American Lighting Association (ALA) President & CEO Eric Jacobson had signed on as Senior Product Standardization Advisor.

Now comes news that residential lighting veteran David Pamer, most recently CEO of ELK Home and a former VP/Sales for Kichler Lighting, has joined the Company as President, Wholesale and Retail Channels.

In his new capacity at SKYX Platforms, Pamer will lead SKYX growth initiatives as well as organizational development in the retail, wholesale, and end-user channels such as home builders and architects, specifiers channels, electrical distribution, e-commerce, home center and lighting showrooms.

Pamer said, “I am delighted and eager to join the SKYX team to be part of its standardization process of transforming the lighting and fan industries from the old hazardous hardwire installation process to a safe and easy plug-and-play installation method.”

Rani Kohen, Founder and Executive Chairman of SKYX Platforms, added, “We are very happy to have Dave join our team in a leading position and look forward to working with him. He pulls on vast industry experience and is regarded as a true industry leader, holding high-level positions in leading U.S. lighting and home décor companies.”
