New York-based Eventscape, an award-winning custom fabrication firm, has tapped industry veteran Jennifer Busch as Director/Client Partnerships. Busch comes to the growing firm after several years as VP/A&D relations with contract furniture leader Teknion. Previously, she spent several years at Interface Flooring, spearheading A&D market development with a focus on sustainability.
In her new role, she will help Eventscape’s leadership focus on building partnerships and new business opportunities across the region. She will bring her deep contacts across the entire design ecosystem and her passion for innovative and cutting-edge commercial design and development.
The appointment follows the recent launch of Eventscape’s New York headquarters in Long Island City. Busch will be responsible for fostering the brand’s culture and creative energy at its New York facility, which serves as a design hub for local talent to explore, prototype, and network. Ideally situated to service Manhattan and the entire Tri-State area, the facility is equipped with state-of-the-art fabrication to assist architects and designers with future-focused design-build solutions. With more than two decades of media experience as an Executive Editor, Editor-in-Chief, and Editorial Director for Contract Magazine, Busch is adept at forging strong partnerships with designers, architects, media, and academic and cultural institutions. She is widely regarded as an industry powerhouse and currently serves on the International Interior Designers Association (IIDA) Board of Trustees and the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) Board of Directors.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer to the Eventscape team,” says Eventscape Founder and CEO Gareth Brennan. “We’ve been eager to open our doors in LIC to the city’s designers, architects, and creatives who can take advantage of our facilities and custom capabilities; Jennifer’s strong network and experience harnessing connections and business opportunities will prove invaluable to the growth of our New York City Headquarters and the brand overall.”
“It’s an honor to join this talented team, and I can’t wait to expand on Eventscape’s relationships within the A&D world as they are such a trusted design partner,” Busch comments. “I am feeling particularly energized and optimistic about the collaborations and opportunities that we can pursue this year and beyond.”
